Specialist Hi-Fi manufacturer Peachtree Audio is the latest signatory to the BluOS high-resolution multiroom streaming platform. The company, known for its compact, stylised amplifiers has partnered with Lenbrook, declaring ‘BluOS and Peachtree share the same values of high-resolution performance audio.’
The brand-agnostic technology enables any BluOS enabled product connected to the same Wi-Fi network to share music libraries and playlists.
The BluOS ecosystem manages stored and cloud music sources and playback. FLAC, WAV and MQA compatible, it supports audio streams up to 24/192. It can also be integrated with leading smart home and voice control systems.
“We have looked seriously at various options to enter the growing multi-room audio category,” says Andrew Clark, Peachtree Audio’s President. “After some initial attempts along the way, a full review of the platforms available brought us to the decision to adopt the BluOS platform. The richness of the BluOS experience, including the plethora of integrations and support for different audio sources, was far beyond what other platforms could offer.”
“Peachtree Audio’s decision process reaffirms our investment into this platform and our goal to offer BluOS as a choice for discerning audio brands looking for an efficient way to adapt to shifting consumer behaviours and technology standards,” adds Gordon Simmonds, CEO of Lenbrook International. “We want hi-res multi-room audio to be accessible to the broadest range of audiophiles and music lovers possible. Bringing a unique brand like Peachtree Audio with their modern, digitally savvy fan base into the BluOS ecosystem helps us to do just that.”
