Custom integrators and Audio Visual Specialists face a unique challenge in showcasing their capabilities. How can they showcase the technology that can be integrated into a home without taking over the conversation? How can a space remain aspirational but still drive the conversation to sales? Acoustic Designs Group’s solution was to combine a 5,000-square-foot showroom in their larger facility to demonstrate their capabilities.

Creating a Space

Environmental Lights partnered with Acoustic Designs Group to make their showroom visually stunning. Each of the areas makes use of unique products that demonstrate the transformative power of lighting. Tunable White LED Strip Light provides cove, bar, floating shelf and toe-kick lighting through the showroom. This unique product is adjustable to any color temperature between 2,400K and 6,500K, serving as an example of human-centric lighting.

5-in-1 RGB LED Strip Light balances the ambience and functionality of the lighting in the listening rooms. With five LEDs packaged in one node, 5-in-1 LED Strip Light allows for rich tones, cool hues and seamless-color blending. This control allows for an engrossing audio experience and an aspirational selling point.

In the living room, backlit graphics of landscape scenery created a transformative environment. Performance 160 Degree Cuttable LED Latticeprovided even lighting across the Barrisol graphic. The effect of the perfectly diffused landscape graphic serves to transports the customer to the serene tranquility of the Sonoran desert.

Stage Lighting: iHeartradio Music Festival 2018

Stage LED Lighting

Our color-changing LED lighting has the power to completely transform a static set into a dynamic stage. The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas made extensive use of RGB LED products to create a stunning show. RGB LED Neon – Wide Top lined the anchor-shaped stage and RGB 5050 Single Row CurrentControl LED Strip Light was used for the poker chip above the stage.

RGB LED Neon – Wide Top gave the stage a unique look and made installation easier. The unique wide-top design helped the edge of the stage stand out and made the RGB color changing even more vibrant. The 20m run-length simplified installation by reducing the number of power injections and making a more cohesive appearance.

Restaurant Lighting: V DTLA

Restaurant LED Lighting

V, on 7th Street and Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles, describes itself as “your new neighborhood hangout set in a converted 1920s jewelry store.” By combining an inviting environment with a cornucopia of visuals, V shows how attention paid to lighting can serve as a link between design ideas. This lively redesign of the former Brock’s Jewelry Store mixes graffiti and artifacts into Art Deco architectural accents. Taking its name from the five senses and the Roman numeral “V”, the 5,600-square-foot restaurant aims to stimulate all five senses while maintaining approachability. Exotic flora and warm LED lighting help to tie the disparate elements together into a unique space.

Lighting for Hospitality

Each area flows into the next section just as each detail of the design meshes with the other details. Space is made visually cohesive by maintaining adherence to an analogous color scheme. The soft greens of tropical houseplants decorate the subdued browns of vintage wood while warm lighting ties it all together. Our 2,400K HyperFlex 2835 LED Strip Light allows for even lighting in every area of V. The space is lit with a consistent 2,400K HyperFlex LED Strip Light, including the circular bar at the entrance and the small alcoves of seating through the restaurant. This uniformity reinforces the visual cohesion of the restaurant while keeping a welcoming and neighborhood feeling.
